Terms of use
Last updated: September 2026 · Version 2.2.
1. What Mappsite is
Mappsite is a discovery platform for businesses of every size. We show the information each business publishes about itself: location, products, prices, opening hours and contact details. By using the site you accept these terms and the Privacy policy.
1.1 Eligibility and account
You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activity on your account. You can close your account at any time from "Account and security".
2. We are not a commercial intermediary
We do not process payments or handle deliveries. When you book an appointment or send a message from the site, Mappsite only passes your request to the business owner: it is the business that decides whether to confirm, reschedule or decline it, and that is responsible for fulfilling it. Any agreement, payment, delivery, return or complaint is a direct relationship between you and the business you choose to deal with.
Mappsite is not responsible for the quality, the availability, the accuracy of the prices or the fulfilment of the products and services offered by the listed businesses.
3. Requests (bookings and messages)
When you book a time or send a message through the site, your data (name, contact details, notes) is delivered directly to the owner of that business. It is the business that decides whether to confirm, reschedule or decline, directly or through its AI assistant if it has it switched on (see section 3.2). Mappsite only carries the request.
To send a request you must give your informed consent (see the Privacy policy).
3.1 Payments
Mappsite does not process payments. Payment, delivery and any refund are agreed and carried out directly between you and the business, under the conditions it sets (for example, cash, bank transfer or another method).
3.2 Artificial intelligence assistants
A business's assistant. A business can let its AI assistant answer your messages, accept or decline your order and confirm or decline your booking, including without a person from the business reviewing it first. Every message it writes carries a line saying it was written by an artificial intelligence, and it goes out in that business's name. It can also mark your order as ready or delivered, but a person from the business always confirms that.
A person's assistant. An AI assistant can book or order at a business on a person's behalf, unless that business has switched it off. It must identify itself, say on whose behalf it acts and leave an email address or a WhatsApp number for that person. Mappsite records what it declares, but cannot verify that it is true or that the person authorised it.
4. Expected conduct
- Do not publish false or offensive information, or information that infringes third-party rights.
- Do not use the site for spam, impersonation or abusive automation.
- If you spot incorrect information about a business, you can report it from its page.
4.1 Prohibited products and content
On Mappsite none of the following is published, even if the business has a permit or licence to sell it. This applies to the name and description of a product or service, to what is asked of an AI assistant and to what is written in a chat:
- Any content that sexualises minors. It is always blocked and may be reported to the authorities.
- People and organs: sale or trafficking of people, organs, tissue, blood, eggs or babies.
- Alcohol of any kind: beer, wine, spirits, liqueurs and cocktails with alcohol.
- Tobacco and vaping: cigarettes, cigars, vapes, nicotine liquids and hookah.

- Sexual or adult content: sex toys, pornography, sexual services, escorts and dating services.

- Hidden instructions to manipulate an AI assistant inside a name, a description or a message.
Attempts are blocked and recorded with their evidence (who, in which business, when and an excerpt of what was attempted) for the security of the platform. A violation can lead to the account being suspended or closed, and anything involving minors or human trafficking may be reported to the authorities. If you think something was blocked by mistake, write to us from the contact page.
5. Responsibility of the listed businesses
Each business is responsible for the information it publishes about itself (description, prices, opening hours, photos). If you own a business and manage its page, you undertake to keep the information truthful and up to date.
6. Intellectual property
The software, the brand and the design of Mappsite belong to their holder. The content each business publishes belongs to its respective owner, who grants us a licence to display it on the platform. You may not copy, bulk-extract or reuse the site without authorisation.
7. Warranties and limitation of liability
The service is offered "as is" and "as available", without warranties of accuracy, continuity or fitness for a purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mappsite will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the site or from your relationship with a business. Nothing in these terms limits rights the law grants you on a non-waivable basis (for example, consumer protection).
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Chile and disputes are submitted to its courts, without prejudice to the rights that the mandatory rules of your country of residence (for example, the EU, the USA or Brazil) grant you as a consumer or data subject.
9. Termination
You can stop using the site and delete your account whenever you want. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or the law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date of the last update is at the top of the document. In the event of material changes, we will give notice on the site.
11. Contact
For questions about these terms, write to us from the contact page.
